Did you see God this week? What would your life be like if you saw God? Can we experience The Face of God? Or is that for the privileged few Bible prophets?
2 Corinthians 3:18, But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit. NASB
What we keep our eyes on, we become. When we keep our eyes on Jesus, we become like Him. When we keep our eyes on things of the world, we become like the world in our thoughts and disposition.
Do we study the face of Jesus? What do I mean by, study His face? To know a person is not just recognizing their face. It is knowing their life, choices, reactions, and intentions. Do we spend time thinking about what Jesus would say or do in a situation? What happened to WWJD? Do we contemplate his sayings and doings from the scriptures?
Take a minute and walk through your day. Did you spend more time with Jesus than anything else? Acts 4:13; “They recognized (the disciples) as having been with Jesus.” There is a direct connection of our time with Jesus and the evidence of that time spent. Are you fearful, frustrated, anxious, worried? Jesus is not any of those. Would He say the things we say? Would He go where we go? Would He do what we do?
How is your transformation coming along? God’s Glory is as close as the reflection in your mirror. Are you seeing that, “glory to glory” in your mirror?
Blessings.
