High Places Music believes in the importance of teaching and training..
Some favorite scriptures concerning music education are …
- It is good to praise the Lord and make
music to your name, O Most High. (Psalm 92:1)
- Sing to Him a new song play skillfully,
and shout for joy.(Psalm 33:3)
- The students studied and practiced their music faithfully … all who were
skilled in playing musical instruments …”(II Chronicles 34:12,MYV – Mrs. Young’s Version!)
- But King David replied … “No, I insist on paying the full price. I will not …
sacrifice an offering that costs me nothing.(I Chronicles 21:24)
Offer your best! Becoming a skilled musician will require much sacrifice and commitment.
In order to be a trained and accomplished musician, vocally or instrumentally, you must be prepared to
invest time, money, effort, energy, mind, soul, body, and spirit! Self discipline and self denial are necessary.
And regularly scheduled practice, practice, practice is essential!
